2022 Forecast Meeting

At the start of every year, we provide an update to our clients regarding current market conditions as well as the performance of their investments. As Covid restrictions lifted we ran a hybrid event with a few of our clients in person at the Marin Country Club and the rest over Zoom. By utilizing this hybrid method, every single one of our clients are able to attend at their own comfort level.

This year we were lucky enough to have Steve Preikschat as our guest speaker. Steve is a senior member of the Janus Henderson Fixed Income team and has consulted with some of the largest global institutions and sovereign wealth funds. Mr. Preikschat shared his thoughts with us about all aspects of the market and where it is headed, and we hope to have him back sometime in the near future.

Half way through the year we like to update our clients on current market conditions as well as the performance of their investments. With restrictions still being lifted throughout the county and community, we decided to make our annual Half Time Report a hybrid event. Having our event on a hybrid platform this year presented us with an amazing opportunity of having Bob Carey as our guest speaker.

Bob is a Chief Market Strategist with First Trust, and has over three decades of experience as an Equity and Fixed Income Analyst. Bob shared with us his thoughts of the markets, interest rates and inflation. In addition, Tim, Tom and Will, addressed the performance of the strategies and the current allocations as well as their thoughts on what to expect from the markets the rest of the year.

Train your brain like you train your body!

While cognitive decline may be an inevitable part of the aging process, studies show that we can prevent, or at least postpone, its development through intervention. Our brain is actually radically adaptable if we train it appropriately — like we do our bodies. The more fit our brain is, the more energy efficient it becomes and the easier it is to do important mental tasks such as focusing attention and being creative.

  • The Foundation for Brain Health through The Fab Five: Food, activity, balancing stress, rest, social connectivity
  • Brain Strength Training: Exercises to build mental muscle, flexibility and endurance for healthy aging
