POST’s Walks & Talks series is a special benefit that we provide to donors at the $1000/year level and above, as well as members of our Open Space Legacy Society. We hold these walks on POST-protected properties that are not generally open to the public.

To thank you for your generous support of POST, we’re delighted to invite you to join us for a guided hike through the Valley of the Giants, a majestic old growth redwood forest at Camp Jones Gulch in La Honda, a property POST helped Sempervirens Fund protect in late 2022. These trails are not open to the public and are usually reserved for children that are part of the YMCA Camp that has operated on the property for over 80 years, giving local children the opportunity to receive outdoor education and equitable access to nature for generations to come. Join us for a chance to see beautiful old growth redwoods, a variety of micro-ecosystems and banana slugs! Along the way you will learn more about some of the many species that live there, the Camp and how POST and Sempervirens worked together to permanently protect this property.
