The KLT Outing Club will take a hike at Howard Hill to explore this beautiful forestland in the heart of the city.

Please be aware, the trail system at Howard Hill is still under development. There are no signs or blazes and the footing is rough in some places.

We will meet at the the Effie L. Berry Conservation Area in Hallowell. This property is adjacent to Howard Hill. From Winthrop Street in Hallowell, enter the Stevens Commons complex. Follow Coos Lane to the north end of the complex. Coos Lane currently ends at a parking area located to the west of the Cleveland Building; from this point, pedestrians can access the Conservation Property over a gated unmaintained road

Free and open to everyone, no registration is needed.
