Eastern River Preserve Property Dedication

**We plan to hold this event unless there is very heavy rain or thunderstorms in the forecast. Our rain date is Sunday, April 28 at 1 PM. Please check back here for updates or on our KLT facebook page.**

On December 4 2018, Pittston residents Judy Schuppien and Phil Brzozowski, donated the 22-acre Eastern River Preserve to the Kennebec Land Trust (KLT). KLT’s newest conservation property, the first in the town of Pittston, features over 3,000 feet of frontage on the Eastern River. A 14 mile-long tributary of the Kennebec River, the Eastern River starts in East Pittston at the confluence of its west and east branches, and flows southwest past the historic village of Dresden Mills into the Kennebec River.

Join KLT, the land donors, and friends during Earth Week to celebrate our newest conservation property.

Directions and Public Access: From Route 27 in Pittston, head east on the Kelley Road. Travel for  2.4 miles, then turn right onto the Blodgett Road. Follow the Blodgett Road south for almost two miles.  Turn left into a small parking area.  Look for the wooden KLT property sign and registration box.
