Story
This year, St Wilfrid's Centre is having to support vulnerable adults in a different way. Having not been able to open for 5 months, our welfare team have been reaching out to people in need. St Wilfrid's Centre clients have been regularly telephoned and activity packs were sent out.
(I've looked forward to your weekly phone calls - it means so much just to chat - Jean )
Food parcels were delivered to various addresses and when able, face to face visits were arranged. Facebook enabled clients to reconnect with each other too.
St Wilfrid's Centre reopened on August 3rd 2020 but only a limited number of people are able to access the support at any one time. Social bubbles were created and clients invited to attend. Those who need urgent support continued to be welcomed into the Centre.
Please help by donating as much as you can to support our ongoing work with vulnerable adults
