About the Pillars of the Force

The PILLARS OF THE FORCE officially opened on September 20th, 2020, as a legacy dedicated to all who honourably respond to the call of duty – day in and day out – across our country.

Located on the Princess Royal Walk at the RCMP Heritage Centre, the Pillars of the Force include the names of members, employees, and our Police Service Dogs mounted to the 21 soaring pillars and dedications engraved into the bricks that make up the walkway. Our online Virtual Pillars display helps to tell the stories of each individual.

We invite our members and employees to be part of this uniquely Canadian story and “stake their claim” today.

No One Left Behind Fund

When Staking Your Claim, consider joining our NOLB Founding Donors!

No One Left Behind (NOLB) helps to ensure those who have fallen in the line of duty including Police Service Dogs, or whose family members cannot be located, or are unknown, or are experiencing challenging life circumstances, are also recognized for their service and stand together with other Pillars of the Force on the Princess Royal Walk.

Inspired by veterans & retirees, NOLB was initiated by three Founding Donors: A serving member in “F” Division, Troop 17 – 1974/75 &
the family of a deceased Member from “E” Division.
